Ground Control
Double Dan Horsemanship introduces revolutionary horse training clinics that change relationships between horses and handlers. From the ground you will learn the foundation techniques of all Double Dan Horsemanship’s’ remarkable liberty acts.
Boost confidence on the ground and with easy to follow ground control methods. Give your horse a relaxed softness in halter, lateral flexion, side passing and introduce cues.
Body control Under Saddle –( Ridden )
You will progress to under saddle exercises and manoeuvres – confirming your understanding of the direct relationship and benefits gained from the ground control techniques learned at the Saturday’s clinic. Dan Steers takes you a step further in Body Control Basics under Saddle explaining the Double Dan Horsemanship techniques to develop a flexible soft horse for a safe and rewarding partnership. Building on the lessons from Ground Control Explained, Steers takes you through the nine Double Dan exercises to gain control of the 5 main body parts, the head, neck shoulders, ribcage and hind quarters.
