“Pegasus offers the Extreme Horseman’s Challenge 6 times a year, with a year-end award at the end of the series.
The Extreme Horseman’s Challenge is a competition designed to test the training and communication between horse and rider. Horse and Rider must negotiate obstacles spread over 80 acres of ground while being judged on their ability to communicate and work with their horse through the obstacles. The Extreme riders must do it quickly as the time taken on course is factored into the score. Obstacles include gates, deadfall, water, hills, ditches, drops and animals of all varieties. The pair may also be asked to carry items, drag items, shoot at targets and ride in the dark. This is NOT an arena show.”
