HORSEMANSHIP CLINIC with Dan Steers
January 24th 25th & 26th 2015
This clinic will be split into groups according to ability and focus. The program will be structured such that it can be modified to focus in groups what you are specifically interested in. This may include, but is not limited to ground control with a focus on liberty work, long reining, body control under saddle and/or mechanical cow work. The first day of the clinic will include a non-riding group suitable for horses which are not under saddle
This 3 day clinic is based on Ground Control & Body Control Under Saddle DVDs which are available for purchase thru our on line shop – and will be available for sale at the clinic.
In our line of DVD’s we have broken down our training methods– clearly defining the levels of progression in your training regime.
If there are particular problems you would like to address in the clinic – make Dan aware of them at the commencement of the day and they will be sure to go through them with you.
Dan Steers will have some of his DDH horses with him and will be giving demonstrations throughout the 3 day clinic.
Equipment to bring for Clinic
- Rope Halter & lead rope
- Driving or lunging whip
- Saddle & Bridle
All equipment will be available for purchase at the clinic. Or can be pre-purchased from our online store
Costs:
Participant with their horse $220 for 1 day / $400 for 2 days / $550 for 3 days
Fence sitters welcome
$50 per day / $80 for 2 days / $100 for 3 days

Clinic Times: 9am – 4pm each day
Accommodation:
Day Yards – $10 per day – Payable to RDA direct
